Bio:

Born in sunny California, Cohen began strumming the guitar at five stating "I'm going to be a Japanese Popstar!". Piano lessons, some bluegrass skills from Aunt Alice & a strong sense of wonder has lead Cohen into the hearts of the world.

Playing west coast coffee shops, the streets in Galway & countless courtyards in Paris, these early shows were stripped down to Cohen's distinctive voice & acoustic guitar. Cello, piano, organ, ukulele, & other classic instrumentation followed, making his compositions rich & hinting at soundtrack epics rooted in a gypsy style.

Inspired, Cohen released a string of independent records including “Moonfall”, “Rockstar EP” & “Owl Said”. The shift of the music industry & an intuitive sense led Cohen to create : Newsuperheros Music, a label for emerging artists. Comprised of a dynamic international Fan Club, artists are featured with integrated new media & connected to a diverse network.

Presently : GYPSYPOP! is in the works : a rock/pop presentation of classic gypsy/folk compositions. By design the record will be supported by a tour of Japan, NW summer festivals & other planetary locals ..
